Terrible customer service, dragged for three months so I can install a Fire alarm system only to not be able to provide any services. I consistently followed up with Karen multiple times with no responses from her. A site visit was scheduled and nobody ever showed up. Do not recommend this place at all.

This is directly focused on communication. No services have been rendered at this time. But I think this is a need to know for future customers.
I contacted Metropolitan Fire Protection by referal from Miller's Fire Protection, who installed my system. I have a leaking sprinkler and need it to be replaced. The team came out, and they were, "Great" by the way. Very charismatic, informative and professional. Because I have sprinkler systems background, I know they did not try to upsale me on anything. The technician said, if they pull the sprinkler head and the pipe has a crack, the system and water to the house would be down for 24 hrs.
Unfortunately, my wife and I have four (4) school age grandchildren living with us, so I would need to reschedule the repair considering that worse case scenario.
The technician called his manager about rescheduling and he said that they would charge me the $350 dispatch fee, even
though no work had been performed.
When I scheduled them to come out for the repairs, the $350 for 2hrs of work and $175 per hour for extended work, was explained, and I was okay with that. But, the possibility of being without water for 24 hrs, was not. If I had known, I could have properly scheduled the repair response with that worse case scenario in mind.
My rating can definitely change, if management and I can find a common ground solution.
I'm not asking for anything but a chance to reschedule the work, for a time that will cause minimal disruption to the grandkids daily activities.

This is an edit to my last post. I had a conversation with management, Rock, and explained what I was requesting. We came to a mutual agreement, and I scheduled the repair a day before the grands would have no school. That way they sleep in and I could have the water back in in the morning. Unfortunately, the team was supposed to come around 10 am but they got there at 2 pm. and finished around 3 pm. So, now I have to wait until 3 to turn the water on, with a house full of kids. Not cool.
But the team that worked on my system were great and efficient. I will recommend Metropolitan in the future.

Great to work with! We had a fire suppression system that was installed by another company, and we needed a line moved in an unfinished room. The installing company stated they couldn't get to the job for 6+ months. Another company quoted $2,500 to move the line that was easily accessible. Metropolitan quoted us less than half of that, based on email photos, came out within 48 hours, and completed the job quickly and for slightly under their quote. We were BEYOND happy with everyone there who worked to get this done! Highly recommend!
I can't express my gratitude enough for Rock and his team at Metropolitan Fire Protection (Clinton Location). His responsiveness and advice on the fire protection system during non-working hours was appreciated and helpful. On top of that, he expediently sent a supervisor, on short notice, when no technicians were available to work with a local plumber to resolve my water leak issue that left my house without water for almost a week. I would highly recommend Metropolitan Fire Protection for any of your fire protection needs. I know they will be my 1st choice for anything I may need in the future.
Thanks again, Rock and team!
I just purchased a home with 17 recalled Omega sprinkler heads and a 26 year old backflow valve which needed to be replaced. Karen from the office sent over a very reasonable quote based off my provided scope of work and we were under an agreement within a day. The scheduled day of the work Shawn and Brendon showed up on time, with their masks (polite of them), and got right to work. The mess was kept to an appropriate minimum, the work was done quickly, they stuck around to ensure there were no leaks in the system, and then I paid with personal check for the exact amount quoted. Couldn't be happier, wouldn't hesitate for one minute to contact Metropolitan again.
