Magnus Anderson

5+ stars! We initially hired Magnus Anderson to do some wood flooring repair, sanding, and refinish following a leak in our kitchen. We went with them after another company kept blowing us off, not returning calls, or not showing up when promised. From the beginning, the experience with Magnus Anderson was a breeze. Richard came out to do the estimate and was friendly, punctual, and quick. I didn’t realize at the time that they also do cabinet refinishing and indoor painting so we elected to do the whole renovation project with them since we had to move furniture and be out of the house anyway and figured it’d be easiest to go with one company versus 3. Esther was absolutely PHENOMENAL at coordinating everything and everybody! We were in communication throughout the whole entire project. She provided an accurate timeline, frequent status updates, guidance on what finishings to select and why, and clear instructions on when we needed to be in/out of the house. It was incredibly well organized! Gus who was subcontracted to do the flooring was also fantastic. He was also great at communicating the timeline. Would keep me updated on arrival time or let us know if something was running behind. He helped us troubleshoot a new game plan after the floors were sanded and we realized we had different woods in connecting rooms. His suggestions were spot-on and I ended up liking the floors way better than my original idea. Gus takes great pride in his work and it was obviously important to him that we liked his finished product. The painting and cabinet work was awesome and done faster than I would have ever imagined. A walk through was done at the end and every little blemish was addressed. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. I would highly recommend them for any home project you are looking to do! P.S. they did our granite counters, fireplace, and hearth years ago too.

We had Magnus Anderson refinish the wood floors in our home we recently purchased. The floors are 15 years old and showed. Not only that but the color had yellow/gold tones in it which we were not huge fans of. After a lot of research we decided to give Magnus Anderson a call. The job started on a Friday and finished on a Tuesday (no work done on Sunday). I will say it took a bit longer than we expected but the quality is all there. We went with Special Walnut stain, a Satin coat and the floors look brand new. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to keep their wood floors and bring them back to life.

When we decided to sand and refinish our hardwood floors, we weren’t quite sure what our options were, how long it would take, and, of course, how much it would cost. The team at Magus Flooring was able to talk us through the process, with a clear timeline and set of expectations. Marko provided suggestions of what stain would match our intended look and also provided recommendations of how to ensure that the refinished floors would complement the new decor. We were pleasantly surprised at their level of flexibility and how they were able to accommodate our quick turnaround. Communication was very clear throughout the process and they were on-time, which provided even more comfort for us. They did a fantastic job sanding, refinishing, and staining our floors, included our stairs. They were even able to repair some gaps that we had between some of the wooden panels. I would certainly recommend Magnus Flooring to others who are looking for a reliable and professional service to restore your hardwood floors to a like-new condition.
