Nikkia was very professional and helpful. After he diagnosed the problem, we decided to buy a dishwasher. I stayed in contact with him and he was able to get us on the schedule and the dishwasher was installed immediately. I would definitely call them again. I like to support small businesses like Knapp's so I hope you will remember to do the same. As you can see from these reviews, a family business would quickly resolve any issues that were in the pass.

Several years ago, our gas dryer died, and we called Knapp. He brought us a nice used dryer that worked perfectly for a long time, until it finally stopped heating. We called Knapp again, and although he tried to fix it, he had to break the news that the dryer was beyond repair. He quickly arranged for another used dryer and, with his helper, wrestled it into place (no small feat in our old basement). Unfortunately, that one turned out to have an issue too. At that point, the laundry was piling up, and we even had a wedding coming up, so it was definitely stressful. But true to form, James came back with yet another dryer, hauled the faulty one away, and installed a beautiful used gas dryer that has been working like a dream. Through all the hiccups, he and his assistant stuck with it until the problem was solved, and we couldn't be happier. Best of all, the cost was very reasonable. I'm certain any other company would have charged more and been far less persistent about getting the dryer into the small, tricky space we have. If I could give Knapp 10 stars, I would. James is experienced, knowledgable, easy to talk with and will take the time to answer questions (in laymen’s terms!). The service fees were straightforward: a flat fee for the service due at the end, when the repairs are installed. The initial site visit to diagnose the issue was included in this overall fee, and they were able to quote me the total final cost that first day (when the replacement parts were ordered). Scheduling was quick: leave a message, get a call back that day for scheduling, and the evening before site visit receive a call confirming your service appt time window. Even with some wonky appliance issues (multiple parts failed in succession), they helped me deal with it in a prompt & fair manner. I appreciate supporting a local, family-owned business, especially when I feel like I’m getting the great service Knapp provides. Glad to have my refrigerator working again so quickly!
