Independent Output

10/10 would recommend this place to others! They fixed my computer that had a broken hinge and backplate in no time (less than a week) and it was almost $100 less than other places. I will say to y'all reading this and wondering if they're the place to go when you show up, it looks a bit odd when you first arrive, it's not a big corporate place, it's a small business with the best service and timing around though! A diamond in the ruff as some may say. Perfect for college students on a budget but looking to get things fixed well. Also, bring a bag of cat food or some toys and you'll get a discount 😁

Seems to be generally knowledgeable about computers and nice…but this interaction just seems to be a lack of respect for my time. Took almost 3 months to fix 3 Xbox controllers. Told me it would take a week and upped the price on me 10 dollars. Granted he did offer me a discount to fix 7 (only 3 were fixed and the others are just broken apparently.) Also very unresponsive when asking about progress on controllers and when I can pick them up. Last thing is he didn’t charge me for a diagnosis on my pc…but also didn’t tell me what was wrong with it either. I’m taking my business elsewhere, hopefully you have a better experience than I.

I don't write reviews. My experience here was negative enough to drive me to leave a review. When I brought my laptop to Independent Output, they were totally unable to give me an estimate of cost or time that my repairs would require. This would supposedly be given after an initial evaluation. This evaluation took several weeks, during which they never gave any sort of updates unless I pestered them. For the entire duration of my repair, no information was ever offered without my repeatedly asking them by text what was going on with my laptop. They had to order parts from overseas for my repair, but it was absolutely ridiculous how LONG it took to get my laptop back. It took more than two months just to repair the screen. That is unacceptable. The repair was expensive and took an inordinate amount of time. Updates on the status of my repair, estimates of when it would be done and how much it would cost, were nonexistent. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy take their business here.
