We previously used Comfort Air for several issues with our HVAC system and were extremely satisfied with the quality of the work. However, when it came time about a year later to move forward with an installation and schedule additional maintenance checks, Yosef became unresponsive. We attempted to reach him for several months without success, which was very disappointing given our prior positive experience. Unfortunately, due to the lack of communication, we’re not even sure whether the business is still operating. If it is, I would hesitate to recommend it based on the difficulty we experienced getting a response.

I reached out to Yosef at Home Comfort Air Services via HomeAdvisor to replace a 25+ year old HVAC system that was original to my house. He did a thorough check, advised me not to bother to add freon since the system was old. He was not pushy and stuck to the facts, even advising me to shop around and get a few more estimates to compare. Everything (estimates, invoicing) was handled electronically which I appreciate. Installation was completed efficiently, and very neatly. He explained every thing the way and was patient with my million questions. We ended up adding a whole house humidifier and upgrading to a variable motor not suggested by him, but requested by us and he advised on if he thought those made sense. He is an honest, and knowledgeable person, the kind of service person/company anyone would be happy to deal with. He will be my go to for all HVAC needs and I highly recommend him and Home Comfort. UPDATE: this provider does not return phone calls. We’ve tried to service numerous times over the past 2 years and ended up using other businesses. It appears to still be in business but not sure why they no longer answer or returns calls. Very disappointing after initial excellent service.

I called for an appointment because I was without heat. Yosef returned my call and the appointment was set. Not only was this technician thorough and double checked everything, he was cognizant of my time and advised me if he was running a few minutes late. I want to make this clear, Home Comfort was the second company I called. The first company gave me an estimate of $469 to replace a $50.00 part they said was defective--there was nothing wrong with the part (which would have been under warranty anyway). Yosef found a burnt wire in the j-box which corrected the problem immediately. The other company never checked that! I rarely recommend anybody because I used to work in the home services field. I highly recommend his company! They are now my go to company for anything related to my HVAC system!
