PLY Solutions

I recently contracted PLY solutions to lift and level out a few areas of sidewalk that were starting to sink due to erosion from drainage issues. They came out walked the problem areas with me and walked me through the process to understand how the repairs would go. They offered solutions for our drainage issue which included running new downspouts so we would no longer have to deal with this again in the future. Sidewalks that were repaired are now level and no longer pose a trip hazard. Great customer service all around from the guys at PLY Solutions.

In 2022, I paid Basement Pros/Renovation Solutions thousands of dollars for poly injections to stabilize our basement, driveway, carport and front walk. The contract “guarantee[d] stabilization” of the concrete, but the work has failed (eg, the carport concrete is clearly separating from the house). As far as I can tell, "Basement Pros" effectively became "PLY Solutions" sometime in 2022-2023. I have been trying to contact PLY Solutions about fixing their mistakes or refunding my money, but they have not responded. Unless they do so, I'd have to say that you should not use this company under any circumstances. I'm leaving this comment/review as a last resort; hopefully someone associated with this company sees it and contacts me directly. Once again, they have not responded to emails or phone calls. Buyer beware. == EDIT to add: The Basement Pros and PLY Solutions had/have the same physical address and owner. In fact, some online reviews of PLY Solutions still refer to it as “Basement Pros” and mention individual staff members by name who formerly worked for Basement Pros. A search of the Internet Archive confirms that PLY Solutions' company profile page on HomeAdvisor used to be titled "Basement Pros." There is very strong evidence that PLY Solutions *effectively* if not technically replaced Basement Pros and has left some old customers holding the bag.

I contacted PLY Solutions to fix problems with my concrete driveway and outside steps. The original builder did not pack the dirt underneath these structures tightly enough. Over the years, the dirt eroded and created gaps. The driveway and steps began to sink. PLY Solutions applied polyurethane foam under the structures, filling the gaps and creating a firm, level foundation. The foam material hardened like a rock within one minute. I greatly appreciate the expertise and professionalism of Pete Gavin. He explained what needed to be done before starting the work and later what was done. I highly recommend PLY Solutions for this type of work.
