Honest, reliable, and they stand behind their work. I’ve had Hawkes Prairie Automotive work on my own trucks and have also seen them take great care of my brother’s fleet over the years. They’re fair on pricing, professional, and always do things right the first time. As someone who’s been in business a long time (and even did the roof on their shop), I really appreciate their integrity and attention to detail. You can tell they care about building long-term relationships, not just quick jobs. Highly recommend them whether you’ve got one vehicle or a whole fleet.

I’ve been going to Hawk’s Prairie Automotive for the last 2+ years and they have never once done a bad job, nor have ever overcharged me on any of the amazing repairs they have done for my car. Seven, Miles, and Noah have been a huge help to me, and are absolutely fantastic to work with. They always do a great job at the right price. I have tried out a few other shops in and around Tacoma, but I can say without a doubt that Hawk’s Prairie Automotive definitely knocks them out of the park. They have amazing customer service, and are incredibly efficient and reliable. I cannot recommend them enough to other people who need automotive care.

Ended up teetering over here from a transmission shop that wasn’t quite right for the job. Their staff were quick, communicative and extremely fair on charges, even took into consideration this was my second shop I’d be visiting. It did take a few fixes to get my car totally turned around, to no fault of their own. Yet they allowed me to drive my rig for a bit before paying the final fee. I think this shows a great deal of compassion and honestly trust, and I am very grateful. Car is feeling brand new and I’ll be crossing town to see these folk for all future mishaps! This place is absolutely wonderful. Back in December my Ford was inoperable and I ended up taking it back to my house to sell for parts. Seven, a tech there took off the charge for the diagnostic completely. When I got a new car I went to them for everything. Everything is fairly priced and they make it really easy for you to cross reference so you know you’re getting a fair deal. Then fast forwards to August my partner’s transmission failed and they rebuilt it just in time for our move. Myles and Seven fought with the ford dealership on the warranty for like a month. I’ve never been to place that takes such good care of their clients. You’re always greeted with friendly faces and the bottom line and I cannot express enough how wonderful and knowledgeable these people are. Thank you guys for all you did for us while we were in the area.
