Hammond Services International

I was hoping I would end up with great service and I would make Hammond Services on of those business you would like to brag about finding. But that sadly wasn’t the case. May 19, 2025 Hammond services came to diagnose the problem with my dryer that was spinning but not heating. May 22, 2025 the invoice was sent for two charges of $135 services fees. One for May 19 and the second one for the future repair date (June 10, 2025). A charge of $66.00 for Heating Element part. A charge of $35.00 for Safety Switch part. And a charge of $50.00 for disassembling. The total being $421.00 which was payed in full May 22, 2025. June 9, 2025 was the original repair date before it was rescheduled at the request of Hammond Services to June 10, 2025 at 11:30am. Hammond Services arrived June 10, 2025 at 12:40pm to my residence to repair my dryer. June 10, 2025 at 4:08pm I inform Hammond Services that my dryer is still not repaired. Dryer was also left with 2 dents. The Dryer remain as it was spinning but not heating. June 11, 2025 I called Hammond Services requesting an explanation and solution. Hammond Services solution was I pay for additional parts and they would do labor at no cost as long as I cleaned the dryer. I asked them to send an estimate of cost of additional parts which they never did send. The Dryer cost me $500 so it also doesn’t seem logical to me that I’ve already invested $421 with no result or repair. Just to get told I need to pay more for more parts. Would been easier if I was told the parts wouldn’t fix it and I could of invested those $421 into a new dryer. Take this review as you will for this is my truth and my experience.
