I brought my phone in because it wouldn’t charge past 1%. The staff assumed it was a battery problem and replaced the battery, but when that didn’t fix it, they said it was likely the charging port. Since their technician wouldn’t be available for a week, they handed my phone back as I couldn’t wait that long. The moment it was returned to me, I noticed screen lines that were not there before. My phone now had brand new screen damage on top of the original charging issue. I immediately went to Charlie’s Platinum Wireless, where they confirmed it was the charging port all along, and now the screen also had to be replaced because of the damage caused here. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into a much bigger, more expensive problem. Be warned: this shop not only failed to fix the original issue, but actually made my phone worse. I left with two problems instead of one.
