Jeff’s Auto Doc

I normally do not leave reviews, but my experience here compels me. Summary- Our van started throwing dash lights that indicated a misfire. I did not have the time or inclination to attempt pulling old plugs and wanted it done quickly. Called Jeff's Auto Doc on Monday because were told they would pull it in that day, and hopefully have it done. Every day of the week we would call back and be told it was getting pulled inside to be fixed imminently. By Friday the van had not been moved in the parking lot despite being told literally every day that week it was getting pulled in. Got attitude when I started trying to get assured it would be done Friday. Gave me attitude and stalled me for spite while trying to just pay the 50$ surcharge and get the van back to fix it elsewhere. At no point in those five days did we receive any communication on delays or time frame, we had to call every time. While calling around town to find another shop I discovered that none of them were surprised to hear about my experience at Jeff's Auto Doc. I will give them one star for possessing the ability to pick up a phone and for the entertainment value of them spitefully holding my keys hostage.

Integrity and commitment. Jeff's had worked on all 3 of my vehicles in the past and earlier this week my wife's vehicle needed work and we needed it back same day, I was in contact with them throughout the day. It was getting close to their closing time and I didnt want to keep bothering them. It was about 630 (they close@6), I got a call that vehicle was just about done. I was impressed that they went the extra mile and stayed past close to finish the job. Thank you so much. Greatly appreciated and recommended.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. They are very down to earth and realistic about what repairs you need. And they charge a very fair price for the work that they do. My $750 pile of a car has basically been rebuilt at this shop for far less than a "cheap beater" typically goes for on marketplace. Suspension, engine work, electrical issues, all handled expertly. They can be a little slow at times. But from what I have noticed that is because they actually care and are not trying to cut corners on your vehicle. This is a real mechanic that will do real work. Instead of throwing parts and money at the problem.
