May be the best there is but wouldn’t know. I left 3 nessages for him over 2 days trying to hire him. Never even bothered to return my call. Too busy? Out of town? Closed? Who knows? Good luck trying to spend money with him. Called Tyrone Computers. They actually answered the phone and set an appointment- who woulda thought!
Kirk has come to my rescue once again this year !! My computer was locked up with a virus, he was able to unlock it, and install a new operating system. Thank you again so very much, Kirk. !! now it is faster than ever, and my information was restored. (posting this in Sept 2024). Kirk has been a Godsend to me and my father for nearly 20 years. We have had his expertise & services in person at several residences and online via remote access, too. Kirk is very knowledgeable, professional and fair in his pricing. I would highly recommend his company and his service, too. Thank you. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Kirk. He responded to my phone call very quickly and was very polite. I was concerned my laptop was compromised. He was able to thoroughly check it for evidence of malware and resolved any issues. This gave me peace of mind. Definitely recommend his service.
Recently, I encountered a nasty problem w/ my 2-year old HP laptop. Basically, the laptop was in a continuous "blue-screen" loop and would not boot-up. After spending nearly 5 hours trying unsuccessfully to correct the problem, I contacted Kirk (the Geek In St. Pete) - who proved to be highly responsive, courteous, professional and competent. Kirk diagnosed the problem quickly (a failing hard-drive), installed a new hard-drive and reloaded Windows (along w/ MS Office and a number of other programs) - all at a reasonable price, and in a timely manner. The laptop is now running like a new machine. In closing, I highly recommend Kirk, especially for those of us who work from home, and need occasional technical support. We are very fortunate to have a professional like Kirk here in St. Petersburg. **BTW, the one negative review ("Eric Johnson") does not even come close to reflecting my positive overall experience with Kirk. It should either be verified or removed.
I would recommend Kirk to anyone in need of help on their computer system, his knowledge is out of this world he has a great personality too. I was so happy he even got my printer back on line and saved me having to buy a new one. Rates are reasonable and he makes house calls if you can't get out. No more trying to understand foreign people on line.
