Fix 'N Repair - Newton

I contacted this mobile phone repair service to replace a water-damaged charging port. The technician came to my home, was courteous, and completed the repair on-site. The charging port was successfully fixed. However, shortly after the repair, I discovered that my rear iPhone camera was no longer functioning properly. It had been working without issue earlier that same day, but was now completely blurry and unusable. I reached out to the company, and after some persistence on my part, they agreed to return—though the technician arrived with a noticeably unprofessional attitude. During the follow-up visit, the technician attempted to fix the camera by using a lighter on the lens, claiming the issue was due to trapped alcohol that would evaporate over the next week. He assured me the burn-like mark left behind would disappear. Unfortunately, more than a month has passed, and the mark is still clearly visible. When I contacted the company again to address the issue, I was met with resistance. They insisted the charging port repair had no relation to the camera (which I understand), but then told me I had “no proof” that they had caused the damage. I explained that the camera had been working prior to their initial service, and that the problem appeared immediately afterward. Nonetheless, they refused to take responsibility and said I would need to pay for a separate repair if I wanted the issue resolved. I am extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled. While the initial service went smoothly, the lack of accountability, dismissive attitude, and questionable repair methods have left me with a damaged camera and no resolution. I would not recommend this company to others based on my experience.
