Our hood vent over the range stopped working. I called them to come out and look at it and within two minutes of him being here he said since You need to access the roof that it would have to wait until spring, it’s December. Nothing was diagnosed, we have no idea what is even wrong with it. He went into the attic for two minutes and brought back a trail of insulation all over the floor, and when I asked why the receptionist didn’t ask me if it was on the roof, because it could’ve saved us both the time of them coming out, His reply was she’s not qualified to ask those questions she just does the scheduling….. and that I should have told her. He was here less than 15 minutes and knew within two minutes he wasn’t gonna be able to do anything and then proceeded to ask me for the $85 service charge plus tax. I told him I would call and pay over the phone and he got very rude with me and walked out the door saying oh that just means you’re probably not gonna pay and you’re not gonna call us back As he threw his hands up in the air. I had every intention of paying until those unnecessary comments and I saw he couldn’t clean up the mess he left from the attic, which is the least he could’ve done after asking for $85. I have the video to prove it and here are the timestamp photos from my camera showing he wasn’t even here 15 minutes. Any decent company would have admitted they should have asked me about the roof ( since most are vented outside) and waved the service charge. Maybe they should Train the receptionist to ask simple questions, especially in the Winter.
