Dease plumbing was recommended by a connection within the trades field of a co-worker for an involved complex plumbing repair in my 70 year old home with a cast iron sewage pipe leak in my basement above a finished bathroom below my kitchen. I had several other plumbing companies in the Winston-Salem area involved in quoting the repair and none seemed either interested or capable of the scope of repair. Dease plumbing was very responsive and did a thorough walk through on-site my property with a quick but accurate estimate of both time and cost of the job. As soon as I notified them of my intention to use their business for the job, the Dease... I had several other plumbing companies in the Winston-Salem area involved in quoting the repair and none seemed either interested or capable of the scope of repair. Dease plumbing was very responsive and did a thorough walk through on-site my property with a quick but accurate estimate of both time and cost of the job. As soon as I notified them of my intention to use their business for the job, the Dease team was on-site as scheduled and did a phenomenal job in 1.5 days of a very complex project that involved ceiling demolition, exposure of a hard to access cast-iron sewage drainage line, removal of old cast iron pipe, creatively installing a new PVC drainage system to the kitchen, reconnecting to existing plumbing lines, and clean-up. They were able to install a new sewage line without having to destroy our kitchen cabinetry or walls mentioned necessary by other plumbers which resulted in minimal disruption in our living space upstairs. I was very impressed at how thoroughly they prepped and draped our basement floors and surrounding walls with plastic barriers so that debris from the repair did not damage surrounding home structures and fixtures. Their price was extremely fair given the scope and difficulty of the work. I am very grateful to have been put in touch with them and would highly recommend them and use them again for any of my plumbing needs.
**Beware getting verbal price quotes** My husband and I were both present when the owner verbally quoted $500/half day and $1000/full day for a downspout repair job. When the invoice came it was $850 for a 3 hour job. When my husband called to question the invoice he said its $1000/half day, $2000/full day, but he would only knock off $100. We try to support local but we will find another company for our future needs.
We are doing a bathroom remodel which included moving the toilet, sink and shower drain. I contacted four different plumbing companies. Two never returned calls. Two, including Dease were quoted. Both companies were professional, courteous and on time. I needed the job done quickly and Dease, was able to start the next day, as they were in between jobs. I was so impressed with the owner, that I accepted the quote before receiving the quote from the other company - risky. Dease's crew, Mike and Matt showed up 15 minutes before starting time and waiting until the exact agreed start time to ring the door bell - nice touch. These guys wer... These guys were first class and I was happy to have them working in the house for a couple days. At the end of each day, and at lunchbreak, they cleaned up the areas they were working on. They finished on day two as promised and left the two work areas spotless. Could not have asked for more. The quality of work was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed talking with the crew. Two days after Dease completed the job, and after a reminder, the other company finally provided a quote, which was about 15% higher. The right decision was made and I will be recommending Dease for any job, large or small. Thank you Andy!
Excellent service!! Jeff and Gavin did a fantastic job replacing our water heater. Again, great service at a fair price. Don’t hesitate to call them if you need a plumber.
Do yourself a favor and call Dease Plumbing first. I had a renovation go sideways and had several companies submit estimates to correct the amateur work that was done. Andy was by far the most professional and you could tell from the conversation that he knows his profession inside and out. The technician Zach was also a total professional and did an outstanding top quality job. His work is so neat that he exceeded my high standards. The office staff Michelle and Josie are also professionals who have been exceptionally helpful and patient with helping me navigate the permitting process. This team lifted a huge burden from my shoulders and I... Do yourself a favor and call Dease Plumbing first.
