DBS was professional, but my experience was frustrating. In September, I got a quote to improve home insulation. I raised concerns about whether the existing attic access (about 17” x 17”, above basement stairs with a PVC vent nearby) would be large enough. I was reassured the crew could access the attic, and the project was scheduled to put in additional insulation and spray foam. They told me to buy a new attic cover and would install it during the job. When the crew arrived in December, they were unable to fit, so the job could not proceed. Alternative options were mentioned, but DBS does not manage or coordinate that work, leaving me to handle next steps myself. The biggest issue is timing — this all surfaced in December, resulting in a winter delay that likely could have been avoided with a more realistic initial assessment. I would have preferred a clearer plan or a start-to-finish solution.
