I had a service call (the week before Christmas) as my 4 year old washer stopped draining mid-cycle. I was willing to pay the $100 service call fee in the hopes that a repair would be relatively minimal on top of that. They diagnosed that the control panel was bad and needed to be replaced....a ~$500 part. I had to decline and cut my losses - I sold it at scrap price to a gentleman that was able to run diagnostics and confirm the control panel was still good and it was actually just a DISCONNECTED WIRE to the drain pump. Unfortunately, I had to buy a new appliance to replace it in the interim....now I feel as if they were attempting to hoodwink me, either due to incompetence, or they were trying to make more $ in labor. Either way, it screwed me big time.
