Came in for a routine AC maintenance call. For no reason, the technician decided to take apart the entire furnace and then claimed there was a leak in the heat exchanger after supposedly seeing a microscopic scratch. He didn’t perform any other inspections to verify whether there was actually a leak. When asked to leave the home, he refused and threatened to call the gas company to shut off my gas. How can you declare that there’s a crack without actually removing the part or performing any proper inspection? Obviously there was nothing wrong, but they get paid to sell, so the technician is incentivized to lie. I’ve been trying to reach someone at the company for months with no luck.
