We worked with Derek at Chimney King to have a chimney shroud installed as part of our new home build in Paddock Lake, WI. Derek provided lots of guidance from the beginning, helping us understand all the different options that were available to us. Derek wasn't the first shroud company I contacted, the first was someone from a different state who would build and ship the shroud to us to have installed. While at first this seems like a good idea (and even a few bucks cheaper) we know now that this would have been a devastating mistake. Derek provided on site expertise and knowledge that helped us navigate a potential design altering situation. He alone had specific knowledge from his decades in this business of a solution that not even most of the fireplace manufacture representatives were even aware could be done. It we hadn't worked with Chimney King, we would have waster thousands of dollars and ended with with a design we didn't want.
