Honest, cheap, swept the chimney without making a mess, gave a thorough evaluation of chimney health, and a true family business. The lowest upfront price for sweeping I found, plus no sales pitch or hidden charges. And, I cannot emphasize this enough, HONEST. I had bad experiences with other sweeping companies trying to sell me thousands of dollars of repairs I didn’t need or gas inserts I didn’t want. Jim had no hidden fees, no sales pitch. Just honest evaluation. 5/5 stars!
Jiminy Chimney was awesome! Super friendly, showed up on time, and did a great job cleaning and inspecting my chimney. They explained everything so I actually understood what was going on, and left everything super clean. You can tell they really care about their customers. I’ll definitely be calling them again next time!
Jiminy Chimney does exceptional work in addition to sharing their knowledge on operational safety and emerging fireplace trends (e.g. gas fire starters, log sets, enclosures, etc.) We first worked together back in 2020 when they inspected/updated/re-logged 7 fireplaces in our 85-yr old house. We had them back in 2024 to convert 2 of those fireplaces back to wood burning chimneys with gas starters. They did an outstanding job…handled everything from disposing of old gas logs to covering the floors around their work area. If you need a fireplace contractor, Jiminy Chimney is who you want to call.
Our technician Rich was very knowledgeable & professional. He performed many tests on our fireplace (Malm) and showed us the proper use and placement of fire materials to be burned. His knowledge and expertise in the fireplace business & service is fantastic. I would highly recommend them for your fireplace needs. We will use them for all our needs in the near future.
