Be sure to get exact pricing upfront if phone has to be shipped off to a 3rd party to be repaired. I couldn’t get a straight answer when I asked for the price upfront even tho he assumed what the issue was, however, I made it perfectly clear that if the repair would be $200+ that I’d rather get a new phone. Surprise surprise I paid $30-$40 just for him to open it and look at it in-store then another $176+ to get it back after repairs. Once the 3rd party got the device and the entire 3 weeks they had it not once did they call and tell me what was wrong with the device nor did they ask if I was okay paying $200+ for said repairs. Idc what was wrong with it a simple phone call would’ve allowed me to make an informed decision, instead I was forced to pay the bill! There was plenty of time and opportunity for effective communication & I was assured it wouldn’t be $200+.. that’s the only reason I let it get shipped off! What’s worse is there was zero accountability! Lesson learned tho.
