Needed some carpet pad for a very large area rug and Home Depot only has two options: huge contractor rolls, or expensive 6x8 sections. So, I went to Carpet Factory Outlet and was happily surprised. They'll sell you as much or as little as needed, priced by the square foot. They were able to cut the pad to exactly the size that I wanted. They also have carpet, remnants of carpet rolls, area rugs, vinyl flooring, hard flooring tiles, laminate, etc. Most of the laminate was at $2.99/sf, so not the cheapest option around. But it appeared to be good quality. It was my second time visiting the store for a flooring project at my house, and each time I've been pleased with what I could find there.
