He fixed my refrigerator. Put in a new computer board and de iced the motor. Over $500. It worked only 3 weeks . I called him he said he would be here Tues. That was weeks ago. Needless to say I haven't seen or heard from him since.

I do not recommend using Greg at Blackman Appliance Repair. He came to fix a heating problem with our dishwasher and found burned connectors and wires. He could not or would not investigate the true root cause of such a serious issue but instead found a very unlikely mechanical issue that he believed caused a short. He said that he "fixed" the issue and replaced the wires and connectors. This cost $327. I was very skeptical but he said "if the problem isn't fixed, I'll come back for free". We ran a load of dishes and smelled a strong burning smell. Obviously not fixed. Called Greg to return and received no callback. Based on other reviews this would seem to be his MO. Maybe he'll fix it, maybe not. But once he takes your money he will not call back. Buyer beware.

Charged me 247 dollars to tell Me my fridge was broken and he couldn’t fix it after showing up 2 days late . Would never recommend Gary, wish I read the reviews before hiring him. Seems I’m not the only person he ripped off.

Garry Blackman took our Money to order a part for our sub-zero fridge and never returned our call. It’s been several months now. It’s very unfortunate. Proceed with caution

We have used this appliance tech twice. The first time things went okay. The second time 2 years later, he completed a job 80% but needed to buy a safety valve for the ignition switch in an oven to get it working. He charged us $400+ on 3/21/24 ordered the part and then promptly disappeared. Meanwhile my tenant didn’t have a working oven for more than 3 weeks because of this as he told us he ordered the part but NEVER responded to our messages, calls or emails to follow up and finish the job. Super unprofessional and I’m not sure why he just vanished off the face of the earth after we spent a good chunk of money to get this fixed. I hope he’s okay, but we’re very frustrated with this the way he’s operating his business.
