Appliance Fix Experts

Something weird going on here. It's called Appliance Fix Experts but a company called Superior Appliances actually calls and sets up the appointments. And they do a very bad job of setting up appointments! My first one was set up between 1-5pm on a Thursday. Didn't show up and didn't call. They did call the next day and apologized, and claimed the repairman was too scared to come to my neighborhood, lol. So they reschedule me for the next week with a 1-3 window. Didn't show up and didn't call. Finally at 4:30 I get a call, and a half hour later they show up. New part needed. They don't have it. A couple weeks later they get it. New appointment. 1-5pm window. It's 4:40 and I haven't heard anything. I text to see if they're coming. They're not. So we set up an appointment for the next day at "exactly" (their words) 11am. At 11:20 I text and ask if they're coming, they say they'll come right away. Arrives around noon. I did get a $30 discount after calling and complaining, but of course that doesn't come close to making up for a wasted half day and then being two hours late on the makeup date and then another wasted half day and one hour late on the next makeup date. The work appears to be fine but they just don't care about your time at all and I recommend calling somebody (anybody) else.

Repairman was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Came the day after I inquired about an appointment (on a Saturday no less), didn't make a fuss about parking hassles (it's not easy where I live) and was able to complete the repair within a couple of hours (had all the parts in his van). Good stuff.

The service was prompt and even though the bolts were delayed we were kept up to date on their progress. The actual repair was quicker than expected and everything was left in very clean shape. We would definitely use them again.
