This is a great Store. A good selection of quality instruments and sound equip. I've stopped in to buy strings or browse 5 or 10 times over past 4 years living here, guys are helpful but not pushy. I decided to buy a new bass (finally), shopped at GCs, online, and some others up north. Never found the right feel/sound or was disappointed in the quality. I spent 2 full afternoons at Andy's over two weeks. Got a little advice from 2 diff sales guys. Played most of them, went home to research, and on my second visit found and bought the TRBX604 Yamaha. Thought I'd end up with a Jazz bass BUT, this had everything on my list, Active Passive switch, quick change 9 V, bridge neck pan pot, ONE master volume, High Mid and Low trim w Center detent pots, small nut 1.5", and somewhat light weight (vs a 78 P bass). The deciding factors: it felt great and the adjustable tone (passive too) was very impressive. You can get a lot of info on line, but not the 'feel'. The price was a little better than online. Had them put on the EB flatwounds (yeah, my call), and throw in a gig bag which they discounted. They checked the set up, dropped the A and D height down a touch, intonation was right on. I've had this for 2 months now and the P bass is taking a rest after 48 years owning it (bought new). Had a few others play it out here locally. Nice comments. The dark cherry red is a winner. I'm glad to be a customer! It must be hard to run a retail outlet these days (I've read the whiny reviews... "some folks"!!). Go visit Andy!
