Joey is an AMAZING guitar teacher. He’s only been working with my son for about a month but my son has already learned so much! He’s patient, very kind and a very talented guitar player in his own right. I’m so happy we found him. We highly recommend him.
I've been taking lessons with Joey since January of 2023. At 18 months of weekly lessons not only has my playing drastically improved but my understanding of the instrument and the fundamentals of music has also improved. Joey is extremely talented but also really excels at targeting the specific needs & interests of his students. He can help you learn precisely the song or techniques or style of play that you want to learn and doesn't bog down his lessons with things that you aren't motivated by. I'd recommend him to anyone, whether you are someone looking for lessons for their children or getting into music as an adult, Joey is the very best for the job!
Joey is the best!! He's been teaching my 9yr old son guitar for the last couple of years and we absolutely adore him. My sons love of music and guitar has grown even more since taking lessons with him. He's excited for his lesson every week! Joey always helps me with buying guitar gear for my son and is always available to help with any questions I have. I recommend him to everyone I know. He's truly the best!
Our experience with Joey has been terrific. My son is a little shy, but he's warmed up to Joey really well due to how friendly Joey is with him. He is so patient with him. My son loves that he can pick out a song he likes and Joey will teach him how to play it. As a parent, I love that Joey comes right to our home for private lessons! You can't ask for a nicer guy to be working with your kids.
Joey is the best. He had his work cut out when he took on this challenge. I started this journey at age 63. (A VERY OLD beginner!). He is incredibly knowledgeable, but extremely patient with a "Newbie". We have made great strides in the past 2 years. I still consider myself a beginner, but with Joey's guidance I can see improvement with every lesson, and most importantly, I'm optimistic that one day soon I'll be able to call myself a guitar player. I would wholeheartedly recommend Joey to anyone at any age or skill level to take advantage of a great resource... affordable, too!
