I know how often a car needs a tune-up... but a sewing machine? Mine started acting up—doing big thread loops and refusing to catch the bottom stitch (or whatever the proper sewing term is!). I’m no professional seamstress, so my husband found Algoma Sew & Vac and brought my machine in. They fixed her right up and, with a smile, let me know I’d been using the wrong bobbin the whole time. Oops! The service was quick, friendly, and they clearly know their stuff. I love that Algoma has so many little, eclectic businesses like this one. I’m sad to be leaving town soon, but I wanted to share all my glowing reviews while I’m still a resident. Definitely check this place out—you’ll be glad you did.
