I cannot recommend Water Heater Doctor enough. Brandon came out and immediately fixed a leak caused by a previous plumber’s mistake ( different company).
Instead of trying to upsell me, he explained that my thermostatic mixing valve was working perfectly. He even gave me a DIY tip to buy a timed switch for my circulating pump and showed me how to flush my tank myself.
To top it all off, he didn't charge me a penny for the visit. It’s rare to find this level of integrity and expertise.
They have earned a customer for life!
My water heater died unexpectedly on a Saturday. Water Heater Docs came out to diagnose it the same day and replaced it the following day with a similar unit. We had an excellent experience with Water Heater Doctor. Patrick was incredibly patient and thorough he took the time to call me and explain everything clearly, which really helped me feel confident in the decisions we were making.
What stood out most was their transparency. Other companies told us “the city doesn’t require a permit,” but Water Heater Doctor was upfront about permit options and pricing — clearly explaining the difference between pulling the permit ourselves versus having them handle it. Their quote was detailed and broken down line by line, including items like a stand. Later, after reviewing photos more carefully, they let us know the stand wouldn’t actually be necessary , which I really appreciated. No upselling.
They also expedited service so we could have our water heater replaced the very next day, and even scheduled inspection for the following day. Brandon handled the installation and was extremely efficient , he completed the entire job by himself in about two hours. Clean, professional, and smooth from start to finish.
