I recently had a plumbing emergency and I reached out to Vanguard Service NJ and they were amazing. The assessment was quick, the work began immediately and this all happened after 8pm. Jamie was the person that provided my service and he was so kind and patient. He made sure he discussed all the steps he needed to take and was honest about pricing. This is now the second time I used their services and I will continue to do so in the future. Very kind people!
On Point with everything we needed.
Had a water leak in 1st Floor bathroom ceiling. Had no idea if it was a major problem or a simple fix. Called Vanguard late on a Monday night. We setup an appointment time that worked for us and they came on time and resolved the issue with no problems.
Excellent Service. Professional, Efficient and most importantly men of their word. Jaime and co did everything that they said they would do; awesome people.
Vanguard is a reliable, honest and trustworthy. From the moment you call ther office, Karen answers professionally and they do their best to accommodate same day. Bevon,- the chief, and his team are always on time, they assess carefully and provide you with clear details on next steps including costs which solve the issue and is effective. Honesty is a huge thing to find these days and is something that stands out here very well. I’ve used vanguard a number of times and their service is spectacular. Prices are also reasonable and work is top notch!
If you want Fast low quality service this is your company.
They will do the work the next day but it will be LOW QUALITY and expensive.
Also their secretary Karen will call and harass you multiple times per day to get paid even though their bill says you have 30 days to pay.
i had this company redo my HVAC in my new home. Not only did they not follow any of the discussed plans, these Bozos cut the main drain pipe in my house to run the vents.
They did not tell me or anyone they were cutting the pipes and thank god no one flushed any toilets.
Also they installed a new duct in my bedroom and left all the drywall and garbage on the floor see attached picture of their "Completed Job"
DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY
THE CLOGGED SINK:
It was the moment I heard "WHOA!!" come from under the sink in the kitchen that I was grateful I gave up tackling the clog on my own.
Curious, I walked into the kitchen to see what happened. Bevon picked up a piece of pipe and explained it fell off and why. If you're curious, it's because of the type of material and it was old.
As he had done from the moment he began assessing the situation, Bevon described what was needed, why it was needed, and looked into how much it would cost.
He didn't change the pipes and call it day. He made sure to make sure the clog was gone.
It wasn't.
The water was taking longer to clog than before he arrived.
In the basement he assessed the matter further.
More work needed to be done.
Unlike at service centers, where they seem to look for something wrong, there was really something more happening that the water was not passing through.
How did I know?
Once I gave the go ahead to proceed, the photos of the pipes, and Bevon calling me down to look inside the pipes, I saw a black hot, greasy, grimy, probably decades (we've been at our house nine years) worth of mess.
Oh, and yes, Bevon took photos. I was not expecting that. It was a welcomed part of the service.
Bevon worked with me and talked about the pricing options and also suggested a jet (see that in a separate review) and offered why he was suggesting it.
After he was done, the area where Bevon was clean. He replaced the items in the basement that he moved to make room to do his work.
Before he left he showed me how the sink was draining. WOW!! what a difference.
THE FOLLOW UP JETTING
I said I would get to this.
After what I saw was lying in the replaced pipe and since Bevon mentioned the work he'd done likely got stuff in the new pipes, I gave the ok for the jet procedure.
That required the specialist, Mike.
He's a nice guy. Thankfully our chihuahua who believes she's more than what she is, didn't scare him away.
He went to the basement, assessed the situation, and got set to do his work.
Because he wanted to make sure not to make a mess of my basement, he asked me for an old towel or paper towels.
After he was done, Mike let me know there was A LOT of grease built up and gave pointers on what to do going forward. I suspect, our pipes were decades worth of crude, but I took his suggestions to heart.
Like Bevon, Mike too put things (our stationary bike) back in its place and made sure the spot was clean.
