It's clean it's still in good shape but it's dying. Many stores are empty sad to see. Spent a lot of my teen years coming here on the weekends just to hang around and look in stores. I hope somehow there's a resurgence but with Amazon and air conditioning in everybody's home in Florida and a full entertainment system at the house there's probably no real need to hang out at the mall.
I have always liked this mall even through all of the changes through the years. Not sure how they keep the doors open, as alot of vacancy here like most malls these days. They seem to be slowly making it an outdoor mall with many businesses being added to the outside of the mall. I miss bdubs and Red Robin which have both closed within the last year.
Not a good experience. Every store we went to for shoes didn’t have a size we were looking for - very common shoe size - 7. Probably more so an issue with the stores. Hate shopping in person for this reason. If you want to keep business open good idea to have merchandise for more than just one size of person. Spent over two hours. Could have ordered a pair of shoes in that time and worked to pay for them.
I was shocked by how many storefronts are currently empty in this mall. As a tourist, I wasn't sure if this was the aftermath of the recent hurricane, but the mall now seems to rely heavily on its anchor stores like Macy’s and Dillard’s. Dillard’s was a highlight—they carry some international brands that are hard to find elsewhere, which was a pleasant surprise. There are also a few local boutique-style shops offering unique services like tattoos, engraving, and imported souvenirs. While the DSW and Old Navy are large and well-stocked, the mall as a whole is a bit of a miss if you’re looking to do some serious shopping.
