I will reach out to the owner and see if he can make things right, but that doesn't excuse the damage that was caused by this business. I've been retired for about 8 years. As part of my retirement, I was given a watch as a an acknowledgment of my 32 years of service. My watch sat in a drawer all these years, in its box, wrapped in plastic. I never wore or used it. My wife is finally retiring and I opened the watch, planning to wear it to her retirement party. I took the watch to Twin Jewelry and asked the girl at the counter if she could replace the nearly decade old battery. She said "no problem" and asked that I come back in an hour. I did so and she told me she couldn't replace the battery because she couldn't tell what type of battery it used. She advised once the boss, "Dave", came in, he could probably figure it out. My watch was disassembled. I asked her to put my watch back together and I would take it elsewhere, as I was in a time crunch. I then took the watch to a reputable jewelry store near the Fashion Mall. They advised Twin Jewelry had damaged the stem by awkwardly pushing the pin over the top of the movement area inside the watch, damaging the plastic rivets and parts that hold the battery in place. Bottom line, They have to order the part, which will take several weeks to get in, I now have to pay out of pocket to repair a brand new watch that Twin Jewelry damaged. I was advised it wouldn't be advisable to wear the watch to my wife's retirement party as the pin could fall out and the interior of the watch would be affected. I gave myself a day to calm down and reflect before writing this review and reaching out to the owner (I stopped by the business but he wasn't in or available) but that doesn't change the fact that I waited 8 years for my wife to join me in retirement and to commemorate the occasion, I planned to wear my brand new retirement watch, only to have Twin Jewelry Phones and Perfume damage my watch, causing me to go elsewhere to fix the damage they had done. My hope is that Twin Jewelry makes things right by me, but I still feel the need to let people know what occurred. The watch has sentimental value and I planned to wear it for a special occasion and Twin Jewelry negatively affected the occasion.
