I can’t say enough good things about Tomlin Diesel LLC. After a long 9-hour drive down to Tennessee, I noticed a transmission line leak and was stressed about being stranded so far from home. They got me in immediately for a diagnosis without hesitation. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely willing to help — but Jason (Tomlin) really stood out. His knowledge was next level. He didn’t just identify the issue quickly and accurately, he also pointed out improper installation techniques from previous work done by another mechanic back in Michigan. That level of honesty and expertise is something you don’t come across often. After dealing with ongoing mechanic problems up north, it was such a relief — and honestly a great feeling — to finally be somewhere that inspired real confidence and trust. This was my first experience with a shop in Tennessee, and it left an incredible first impression. Tomlin Diesel is hands down the best. I called to ask a couple questions and spoke to Jason Tomlin. He listened to my questions and offered to come to our house and check out GMC 2500HD diesel. It wasn’t starting and with the below freezing temperatures I was concerned with damaging something. He arrived with everything to diagnose the issue. It was determined to be the batteries. He had anticipated that and had two with him that he quickly replaced. He then checked the diagnostics again and reset the electronics. It was fast, professional and beyond what I expected. We will be Tomlin Diesel customers for life.
