Tim's Aatco Transmissions

Amazing service. Tim’s AATCO invested a ton of their time –probably two hours – chasing down an intermittent but significant transmission issue on my 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser, even taking it on two test drives to make the problem show itself. They figured it out and they didn't charge me. Even when I suggested they should. They just said I should bring it in when it got worse, and consider some options in the meantime. As a former mechanic I can say their diagnosis was careful, fair, and trustworthy. They didn’t push for a sale—if anything, they helped me avoid a repair I may not need. I’d absolutely return to them and highly recommend their shop.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honest, fast, and saved me thousands! I brought my 2012 Jeep Liberty in because it was slipping badly between gears and I was 100% convinced the transmission was toast. The guy at the counter listened, put it up on the rack, checked the fluid level , topped it off and had me test-drive it. Ten minutes later it shifted perfectly again—no more slipping, no hard sell, no “you need a $5,000 rebuild.” I’ve never experienced that level of honesty at a transmission shop. They easily could have taken me to the cleaners and I wouldn’t have known the difference. Instead, he didn’t charge me for the 3 qts of fluid they added. This place just earned a customer for life.
