Tidewater Sew-Vac

This Tidewater Sew-Vac is located in the London Bridge Plaza Shopping Center. This is basically just north of the intersection with Virginia Beach Blvd. The way the shopping center is set up, you may not easily see it from the road. Parking seemed to be fine when I was there, but I could see it fill up if multiple places there get busy. My first visit here was on February 1, 2025 and would be back several weeks later. The reason for the visit was to have a few sewing machines my mom has looked at due to some issues with them. The staff were very friendly and were able to listen to the issues and look for a plausible solution for the sewing machines. After that, my mom and I decided to go ahead with having the sewing machines looked at and also to have a tune up done on each. They did note that it could take several weeks, but that wasn't an issue. When it comes to payment, for the tune ups, you have to pay 50% of the cost at drop off and the remainder, including any taxes, when you pick them back up. I did take a look around the inside of the business as well. They have quite bit of stuff to choose from too. As expected, there is an area for Sewing Machines and another for Vacuums. There is also an area for fabrics too. A few weeks later, the sewing machines were ready for pick up. It took another week for us to get back there due to other things going on and the snow that we had at that time. When we did make it in for the pickup, the process was pretty easy. There is also a 30 day guarantee, so if you have any issues arise within that 30 day period, they will diagnose and fix at no cost. Overall, the experiences were excellent here. They were up front with everything along the way. I could tell very quickly that they were knowledgeable about the products they had to offer, along with the tune up info. It's hard to find places like this that you feel like a person instead of a number. If you need to have any servicing and such done for sewing machines and vacuums, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Tidewater Sew-Vac is a gem for anyone with sewing or vacuum needs, and my recent experience with Robin was outstanding. I left Tidewater Sew-Vac feeling confident and excited about my new embroidery machine knowledge, all thanks to Robin's exceptional service. I haven't purchased it yet, due to other obligations for the funds, however I will be getting my machine from them.

Amazed with the people at this store. Customer service seems to be a lost art these days, but not here! They fixed my vacuums up nicely and they were kind and helpful the entire time! So grateful to have found this store. Thank you for making “doing business” easy again!

There is something to be said for great knowledgeable customer service. This store sets the bar. I was in need of a quality vacuum and staff is so familiar with their products. They allowed me to try out several models there in the store. Crystal was extremely professional and friendly. Would highly recommend this location and staff. The Sebo Airbelt E3 Premium is a great machine and perfect for my household.
