TLDR: Recommended by a trusted source who has their 4 vehicles serviced here. Rich and the gang are outstanding. Oil change and overall checkup. Needed two air filters, which I knew. Authorized those. Happy with the pricing. Zero upselling on useless crap. The service and speed could not have been better. Starbucks a block away. Walked there, returned, service complete moments later. Adding longer details about a competing company: Really want to build a relationship for future service issues. Moved to Vegas 7 mo ago. Found a company that also has a few locations. Great price on the oil change. And just before they wrapped things up I was given some gorgeous, professional-looking paperwork showing black and white photos of things they checked on my car. The guy at the counter said I see you need your “whatever” replaced. He pointed at the picture, supposedly showing it was falling apart, and I saw the Tech’s recommendation in red on the paperwork. How much? $1600. Yow!!! The counter guy assumed the sale and said they’d have the car ready in a few hours. Uh… no. I said I’d have to schedule for later and I’d call. Honestly, the picture showed me nothing. And then I read their disclaimer on the paperwork, that said items will also be listed based on the manufacturer’s recommendation. And this piece was “recommended” to be replaced anytime between the current mileage and 50K miles from now. Wow. Exactly what dealerships do. Which is the reason I want a good independent dealer. And now I’ve found someone I trust.
Wish I found this shop a lot earlier, they are very honest and straight shooters. I brought my older Kia in for repair and after trying a few things to help keep my cost down, it ultimately didn't work so I brought it back in to try something else. After digging in some more on my check engine codes, they decided the repair would cost me too much, and instead of trying to talk me in to doing it, they did the opposite and talked me out of doing it. I am not sure there is another auto shop in Vegas that would give me back my keys and tell me NO charge for the time spent on my car as well as some parts they paid for. They earned my trust with that one gesture, and I will be sure to recommend them to anyone that ever asks me if I know of a reliable mechanic.
Took my car here after going to a national mechanic chain, went in for their second opinion. The quote was reasonable and extremely detailed meaning there are 0 surprises when it comes time to decide what to do. All the reviews complaining about the 3% credit card fee must not realize how many businesses do that and just dont tell you up front. The office staff was very professional and had top notch customer service. As for pricing it was very reasonable and like I said completely transparent in the initial quote. Not to mention how quickly they got me back on the road!
