Lake City Air Conditioning

I first used Lake City Air Conditioning during the summer of 2015. I was so impressed that it was one of the first Yelp reviews I ever wrote. We later moved out of state and rented our Henderson house for seven years. We had a few HVAC problems over the years, and we always called Lake City. They would bill me and provide an excellent explanation of each repair. We moved back to Henderson last year. Our large AC unit stopped working yesterday evening. Amazingly, after the hottest day of the year so far, 111 degrees, Julie at Lake City was able to get a technician out this morning for us. Adam opened up a side compartment on our big AC unit. He immediately said it looked like the capacitor should be replaced. He said we had an unusually sized dual capacitor, but he had an alternative that would work just fine at the same cost. He thoroughly explained our unit's situation and what likely caused the capacitor to fail. He fully answered every question I had in a manner I could understand! Adam was very professional but kind enough to be friendly and pet our extremely playful Shih Tzu. While Adam was excellent, I must mention how good Julie has been to work with over the years. She has quickly gotten answers to any technical questions I might have and has always worked to get a technician out as fast as possible. Lake City's prices seem to be quite fair. I really like that I've never been pushed into buying or repairing something I didn't need or want. I've always trusted their technicians, which is very important when you don't quite understand how an HVAC system works. Nobody likes to call a repairman, but it's comforting to have confidence in knowing exactly who to call. Lake City Air Conditioning falls into that category for us! Jim Kruger

The best experience, hands down. The technician, Adam, called to discuss my air conditioning issue shortly after I placed my service request. He was extremely polite and professional, and gave me a short, two hour window for his arrival: same-day on a Sunday. He text me 30 minutes prior to arriving, and was right on time. He took the time to explain everything to me, and gave me his honest assessment. The repair was made promptly, and in line with his initial estimate. Adam was terrific; it’s definitely the customer service that’s most important to me when it comes to selecting a service provider, and Adam created a loyal, happy customer in me. I can’t express how happy and grateful I am, and would recommend Adam and Lake City Air Conditioning to anyone that needs honest and reliable HVAC service.
