Superior Landscapes

I was in need of some gravel recently and was recommended Superior Landscapes by a friend who saw that they had a decent review score online. Before I continue, I want to make it known that I do not hold that friend accountable for what would happen afterwards because they had no clue that real life could be as insane as it would become. I arrived at the “Superior” offices (yes please see the quotation marks as passive aggressive) and noticed that there was a note on the door about not entering the office due to covid. This seemed like a surprisingly progressive and safe policy for a landscaping company which continued to give me a false sense of security for what I would soon encounter. After returning to my vehicle and sitting a while, it occurred to me that I may still need to enter said office and at least go far enough into the counter so the staff would at least know that I was present and ready to conduct an economic exchange where I give hard earned money for a product and/or service which at least in my mind was not a new concept by any means its probably been happening for thousands of years. Approaching the desk I could hear the faint at first but increasingly louder and alarming sound of human intimacy. I was not prepared to venture further into the facility to determine if the sounds I was hearing where a live action moment of human connection between hopefully two consenting adults or if it was a recording being watched by a human taking care of a personal need so I again exited the office with my cheeks flushed (though I’m sure not as flushed as whatever cheeks where making the sounds I could hear). After a moment outside, a burly gentleman stepped out and yelled in my direction which was how he had decided to establish human contact. Still flustered by the accidental eavesdropping I didn’t sign up for, I quickly exchanged the stated necessary amount to get the gravel and then gave explicit and clear directions to the proprietor several times. Thinking that the highlight of this odd encounter was over I went upon my way. However, my audio directions must not have worked for him as well as the visual directions he was watching when I first arrived the delivery went awry when he not only went to the wrong location, he then engaged my neighbors in aggressive chatter and threatened that should he leave he would not return (even though he had been paid). Finally he got to the spot (or close enough - you’d think after watching the adult films he was watching he’d be able to find it easier but i digress) and dumped his load (again….) and left. I would then learn that it was far under the agreed upon weight of gravel and I was extremely overcharged after price shopping to get the rest of the gravel that I originally expected to get but from another source that doesn’t screw me over (in any sense of the word). Gravel - 0/10 did not deliver appropriate quantity Customer Service 0/10 - Aggressive and overbearing and rude in general
