I live in Memphis, TN needed work done on my sister's car there in Pine Bluff, in less than a week they called and said the car was ready. Very pleasant experience.
Would give this place ONE STAR if I could!! Con artist and scammers! I took my car here to get 3 things fixed that 2 other mechanics told me were the problem. They were cheaper so I thought ok I know what’s wrong easy fix. I went to pick up my car my car wouldn’t start! I told them to just take everything off that they supposedly did and just give me the car back how it came they then told me they SUPPOSEDLY kept one part on for whatever reason idk but charged me for that one part AND for looking at the car lol when I specifically told them what was needed. Ok coo so they then wanted to charge me $200 for a valve cover they left on AND for ju... Would give this place ONE STAR if I could!! Con artist and scammers! Ok coo so they then wanted to charge me $200 for a valve cover they left on AND for just “looking at the car.” 😂😂😂 so I told them if my car isn’t in the condition I dropped it off then I won’t be paying for a car that won’t start when it was cranking up when I bought it to them so the owner then tells me since I’m talking to him crazy he’s now charging me $890 with no extra work done JUST BECAUSE I WAS TALKING TO HIM “crazy” 😭😭😭😭 these people are crazy! And scammers! The police was called and i’am taking the proper procedures because they have yet to give me my car back unless I pay them $890 which i’am not doing! I wouldn’t take my car nor a simple bike to them!! My dad told me if you see a lot of cars on the lot that’s a RED FLAG itself I was just rushing and trying to do this on my own which caused me to now not have a car and to be out more money than I intended Edit we did figure out a solution and he did apologize for his behavior
I don’t usually post reviews like this, but what Stratton’s Auto on Camden Rd did to my friend was beyond wrong—and people need to know. She brought her truck in for a minor issue and ended up in a months-long nightmare. They charged her over $15,000, kept her truck for months, caused more damage than they fixed, and never once took real accountability. They broke parts, blamed her, and even let her truck get towed without a single call or heads-up. She found out from a letter. Who does business like that? She was patient. She gave them chances to make it right. They just kept lying, dodging, and cashing in. This wasn’t just bad service—it... If you care about your money, your vehicle, or being treated like a human being—do not go near Stratton’s Auto.
