Shubitz was scheduled to install a kitchen sink, faucet and bathroom sink drain today at 10 a.m. I called the company at 10:45 a.m. to see if I was still on the list. I was told by the secretary that the owner was not going to make it out to my job today as the job he was on was taking longer than he expected. I suggested that a courtesy call would have been appreciated as we scheduled our plans around this installation. She apologized and rescheduled the appointment for the following Tuesday. I asked if I was first on the list so not to be left without an install again. She assured me that I was first on the list. I told her I read reviews this morning stating that unhappy customers had reported some of the same kind of complaints about not showing up on time or not at all. That’s what prompted me to call. I suggested going forward that a call to explain a change in installation plans would be helpful and would ease the tensions. She agreed and hung up. Five minutes later she called to tell me the owner, Chris Shubitz, has cancelled the job all together and would no longer be of service to me. I said that was a shitty way of doing business. I guess offering business suggestions for improvement are not appreciated at this Shubitz Plumbing and Heating!
