The variety of good and services Shelly's offers makes this the go-to local hardware store. Bolts, screws, and nuts sold by the pound for a reasonable price. They cut keys, mix paints, and rent out small engine equipment. They have just as many household necessities as they do gardening supplies. Like any good store ran by caring locals, they have quite the selections for toys, candy, and games for the kids. It truly is a one-stop shop. Its a little small for two employees to be working there at the same time, but I found myself expecting there to be one more person for security purposes if nothing else. The man that helped me was quite knowledgeable when trying to purchase one of their power tools.

If you need something common and quick this is the place. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, I have always been greeted almost immediately on entry and they lead me right to what I need. Only thing I will say is the markup on some things is ridiculous. Some things are competitive with big box stores but sometimes I go in expecting to pay 10-15 bucks and end up spending 20-30 or just making the trek to home depot.

Great locally owned business! They said “If we don’t have it, or can’t order it. You don’t need it!” I’d say that’s a true statement! Big fan of the selection.
