Great friendly staff. Seems like a quieter store however this store definitely beats having to go to harbor freight or TSC. I also noticed that they offer a wider range of diy items especially for a emergency, however I would highly recommend that they throw down some more ice melt in the parking area. Being shaded it stays icy long after a snow storm.
I just wanted to take a minute to Thank Autumn she works for the Big R in Sparks off of Baring Blvd... Today I went in and bought a couple parts and when I got into my vehicle to leave it wouldn't start due to a dead battery I tried asking a couple people for a jump that were parked next to me but nobody wanted to help... Autumn is the only one that totally went out of her way to Help Me She's Amazing Thank You Autumn!! Also wanted to add that I Love The Big R it has a variety of different things it's hard to make it quick run inside there's too many toys in there, employees are really nice and helpful!!!
Walk into this store and plenty to see, has just about everything in the store. Employees are willing to assist and don't run away, they even say welcome in when you walk in. They have clothing, shoes, outdoor stuff, gardening, farming, feed, pet supplies, hunting/fishing, plumbing, electrical, tools, snacks and a lot more. The store is clean, well organized. Parking is limited (in my opinion - but there are other areas to park that is much of a walk to the store. When I was checking out the cashier was super friendly and asked that I got everything I needed. This is a pretty cool store check it out, I recommend it and I think you will love t... Big R is always well organized and clean. The staff always asks if you need help unlike other hardware stores that you have to hunt someone down. Their prices seem fair and they have a wide selection of items from pet supplies, house hold items, outdoor wear, creative gifts and so much more. Autumn checked us out on our last visit and was very pleasant and helpful.
Great selection of hardware, pet and animal supplies, and propane refills-not exchange. A fill costs under $18.00 with 4-1/2 gallons for BBQ tank-exchanges elsewhere cost more and they are only 15lbs. (Propane weighs about 4-1/2lbs/gal, so exchanges are under 4 gallons.
