Rendel's did a wonderful job repairing and reupholstering my antique chair! It belonged to my grandmother and the old upholstery was sad and dated, plus the front crossbar had broken. Rendel's did a fantastic repair and had a great selection of fabrics, so I could get exactly what I wanted. The turnaround time was quick, and I'm so glad to have my chair back in action!
I've hired Rendel's for two jobs: a custom bench cushion and reupholstering an old rocking chair. Both projects turned out top notch! Mike at the front desk is helpful, patient, and friendly. I highly recommend this local gem. I'll be visiting them again soon to fix and refinish an old dresser. Don't buy new, go to Rendel's!
High quality work that was well worth the wait! Our hand me down armchair and couch set was in rough shape. We got great help with fabric selection and placed our order in late November. Our furniture was picked up in February and returned in March (5 week turn around). Although it was a bit tough having no furniture for the month, the time frame felt very reasonable given the size of the set. Rendels was very responsive to emails and questions throughout the process. The furniture feels completely new and much higher quality than anything we could have bought new for the equivalent price. The fabric looks beautiful and feels great.
We've used Rendel's for 3 different projects this year and were impressed with their craftsmanship and attention to detail. We repaired a leather couch, updated an old love seat from the 50's, and reupholstered one of grandma's arm chairs. We have more work to do and won't hesitate to rely on Rendel's again.
