Could not have asked for a better experience with RC. From the initial visit detailing the process to the final walkthrough upon completion, everything was great. The job was explained to us in detail and we were told what to expect. The guys showed up as scheduled and did an outstanding job. They left as if they weren’t even there. Everything was cleaned up and dust was minimal! The office worked with our schedule and even got us done earlier than anticipated. Very professionally group of people, a pleasure to deal with and we are very satisfied with the outcome.
RCWaterproofing repaired the walls in our basement which had a crack all the way around the whole basement. What a wonderful professional company. The work was first class. We would refer the company to all our friends and relatives
Justin is absolutely amazing. He talked me through the whole requirements for getting my basement dry. He picked up the phone and answered and was so helpful. It’s unbelievable how nice this person is. Especially women if you are reading this review you’ve gotta know that he treats everybody with the same respect and courtesy. The extent of his knowledge is equal to that of his kindness. I highly recommend this company.
My personal experience with RC Waterproofing was fantastic! Had some bad leaking problems in my basement and thought it was going to be a very pricy and extensive project but after I got a free quote/inspection, I was told it was a relatively easy fix. Bill was the the one who gave me the quote and he was awesome. He was very straightforward and honest about what needed to be done and gave me the reasons why it needed to be done that way. He gave me different options as well, if I didn't have the funds to do the project all in one go and was honest with his opinions on the route I should take. He was professional and very personable. He was super friendly with my young daughter who kept asking for his attention when we were talking about the project and he was more than ok with her interacting with him.
When the guys came out to do the actual job (I don't remember their names unfortunately), they were just as great. When they got to the job-site, they gave me a quick rundown and answered any questions that I had. My wife and I were unable to be home when they left each day but always made sure to lock up our house before they left which we very much appreciated. They also cleaned up all of their mess each day they were here. Whenever I went down to look at their progress, the tools that they had there were all set away very neatly and out of the way and there was no trash left around. When it came time for final inspection, I also was unable to be around but they offered to drive back over whenever I needed, to do the final inspection for me. Very helpful and professional.
The job itself also went really well. The only work that I had done was on the interior of my basement. They waterproofed the perimeter of my basement as well as widening and installing a new sump pump. Everything was left as clean as they could get it, compared to how it was when they got there. They warn that dust can get all over stuff from the work they have to do but they did what they could to cover up any major personal belongings I had in the basement that wasn't already covered and swept up anything that was left on the floor. The concrete that was poured looks really smooth and clean. I looked around and there were no big divots or anything noticeably wrong. Besides the dust that is really unavoidable, I think they left my basement floor cleaner than it was when they got there. Definitely a 5-Star job.
Everything about the people I talked to and who did the work was awesome and I definitely recommend them for basement waterproofing. With that being said though, we haven't gotten any significant rain to necessarily test it but I am very confident that it will hold up.
Not just a "5 stars: They did good", They were honestly very friendly and helpful from the beginning of the project until the end of the payment. The receptionist was also really kind, who I spoke to over the phone. A great company that does great work.
Replaced two window wells and said the one will "have some settling." There's a huge hole, about 3'x3', not "some settling" and the water funnels quite easily into the basement as a result of the "fix." Not to mention the well wall has unevenly dropped over 2." I paid them $300 extra for backfilling too. Also received no receipts to prove the 300 in expenses. I went to Menard's (it's where the least expensive plastic wells are) and priced everything and added the quoted 18%. All total for parts plus 18% may have been around $200. Ripped off. Not a happy camper. Oh, and let's not forget that the cable line wasn't buried and the jack with its stake was buried away from the house. I will be spending my holidays off fixing someone else's "fix."
