I typically buy refurbished phones off eBay, but this time I saw an ad online saying support small businesses, and I decided why not, let me give it a shot. I walked in and the buying process was as smooth as it could have been. The refurbished phone was a bit scratched up but seemed to work fine. Two hours later the back of the refurbished phone (iPhone) was peeling off. For me it was a bad sign (if the back of the phone was already peeling off, what else will break? It just seemed like shotty work). I went back for a refund as the phone did not seem to be in good condition. I was told that there would be a restocking fee... fine. Then t... Then they told me they were doing me a "favor" by accepting my return, and that within the 3 hours that I was gone they sold my trade-in device. Note that there was no signage in the store, or on my receipt stating that there wasn't a refund policy. So because of how "complicated" the transaction was I was only able to be refunded for the actual money that was paid (I completely lost my trade-in; I said that he had no problem assigning a cash value for it earlier in the transaction. I was basically told that there was not enough margin for him to refund me the agreed upon trade-in value? ). I would not recommend doing business here.
Be aware! Be aware! Do not buy any refurbished or used iphones or anything for that matter. You will be wasting your money and the owner will just charge you for repairs needed to be done to the phone you buy. Highly unprofessional and would not recommend at all!!! wish i would have noticed the other bad reviews Owner will find some type of excuse to warranty the issues with the phone! I bought an Iphone 12 Pro Max, initially transaction went okay. Once i left i go to check out the camera and the back camera was blurry so i called mentioned this and he said he would fix it being that it was within the 30 day warranty, he ordered the part,... Be aware! Be aware! Do not buy any refurbished or used iphones or anything for that matter. You will be wasting your money and the owner will just charge you for repairs needed to be done to the phone you buy. Not even 3 months later phone is having battery problems not charging or holding charge. Please dont waste your time or money here!
