Quite literally cannot say enough good things about Priams. I moved to Hawaii 5 years ago and after hearing about all the dishonest shops in Hawaii I’m so glad I found Priams. They have taken care of 2 of my cars since I moved here and have on multiple occasions told me that service on certain things wasn’t needed when many shops would have just taken my money and done work they didn’t need to. Always reasonably priced on repairs and very kind/honest about what needs to be done/what can wait. Will take all my cars here as long as I live in Hawaii. Best mom and pop shop on island by far.

This man is about to retire and could not care less about offering quality customer service. I stopped by last week with obvious CV joint issues. I was given an appointment for today at 8:30 a.m. After inspection, I was told I have a junk car that will need to be replaced soon. He was willing to fix for $600 labor and the price of parts plus an additional $100 for each part over retail market value. Over $1,000 total although I never received official estimate because he had no intention of helping. I also found the part he stated "was not on island" in less than 30 minutes! And I'm not even in the auto repair business! Am I supposed to believe that a mechanic with 35 years experience doesn't get a break on part prices and cannot find parts that are ON ISLAND!? So pilau! If you're looking for a trustworthy honest mechanic, he is NOT it. I wasted an entire days pay under the impression he would be able to help me. He did not help. He promised me I would receive an email quote by noon but had to call myself at 4:00 p.m. when I heard nothing. The office staff did not even get the message. Don't waste your time. Find yourself a good mechanic who's not looking to fluff their retirement fund.
