Bad experience with product, great experience with Fern on NewAir’s support team.
Fern was absolutely amazing in helping me out from a customer support end. For the company itself, my cigar humidor came in with a big sticky residue on the interior glass that won’t come out. Their fix was to either replace the unit (which would be the biggest hassle in getting it back to a UPS store weighing as much as it does) or to wait several months to get a new door shipped to me. On top of that, the humidor was missing its door handle, which they are shipping to me.
I originally contacted NewAir, Ionie, about a problem with an existing product that had been in service for a number of years.She listened and gave me some suggestions to rectify the situation. After that did not work I contacted her again to purchase a new product. She was professional,knowledgeable, friendly and communicated well. It was great to deal with a professional positively responsive customer service person.
I purchase a Newair wine cooler through Best Buy. I chose Newair as it was highly rated. However, it came damaged. Now, you may not know this, but 9 times out of 10, if you purchase something, generally you don't go back to the place you purchase but the company who manufacture of that item.
As you see in the pictures, I immediately contacted customer service of Newair to get the ball rolling on a Friday afternoon. Didn't think I would hear back so soon, but within a couple of hours, I heard back from a CSR Fern.
Fern confirmed the unit still worked and then said they would ship me a new door. Just like that, problem is solved.
So, not only are wine coolers by Newair highly rated, but their customer service is as well.

Ordered a beautiful 500-count electric humidor from Newair. Sadly the unit is defective. I contacted customer support and was promptly assisted by Fern who after a few email exchanges arranged for a replacement unit. I appreciate Fern’s diligence in resolving my issue. I have no doubt he has arrangwd a satisfactory resolution.
