Treebark Termite and Pest Control

I paid $2,000 for termite treatment, which included preventative attic treatment. I also paid for annual maintenance, but after one year, they attempted to bill me a month early. The treatment has clearly not been effective, as they had to come out multiple times. Last August, they failed to renew my maintenance agreement, so I began getting quotes from other termite control companies. The termite situation has gotten unbelievably worse, with termites now appearing in the attic as well. This is after I had all the wooden structures, fences, and gates outside demolished. I understand that termites can take time to appear and new areas may be affected, but they should not be reappearing in the same spots. I’m frustrated by the lack of effectiveness of their treatment and the company's policies. Over two years ago, I expected better results.

We had their termite service for 2 years, but I wish that I hadn't paid thousands of dollars for it :( disorganized and poor technicians. For the very first inspection and treatment, they sent someone out to spray their treatment solution and fill our affected walls with their foam. They said it would be a slow process, but we should be protected for many years. From 2021-2022, we still had the same amount of termite activity in our home. Every time I would call and have someone come out, the technicians would say that termite activity is normal, and it will go away "eventually." "It's not that bad." One technician didn't believe that we still had activity unless I provided proof. Luckily, I kept a winged termite in a cup that time to show him or else he would not have retreated some areas. Another technician showed up to my house and left within 2 minutes of "checking" on the swarms saying that there was nothing that he could do about it. I have called their line to complain about their terrible technicians, but it didn't seem like my complaints were recorded. I was putting off writing this review because I didn't want to be harsh, but it's 2023, and I'm still seeing activity since the last time they treated my house. We definitely did not renew our contract. Better to work with a new company or even DIY! :( Stay safe everyone!

We used Treebark for termite control for our home in LA. The salesman that came (Mark I believe) promised great results and sold us on a $2000 service including a one year warranty (much easier, more effective, and less evasive than tenting he claimed). A few weeks later they sent a couple of young techs who spent about an hour of spraying (I had to follow them around and point out all the places they had missed). I have since tried to schedule them for maintenance as part of the warranty program but it's like pulling teeth. The appointments were set and they just didn't show up (and didn't bother to tell me they won't either) and the one time I managed to get them out once so far, they spent about 15 minutes "treating" an area with minimal effort or care about the rest of the house. So we are in about $2000 for a few hours of work by young inexperienced tech with a fake warranty service. You decide if that's worth it for you.

I am a long term customer of Treebark Termite and Pest Control. Recently, an employee showed up at my house to take care of the necessary service. Unfortunately, he did not have in his possession the diagram of my house which needed service. It was not his fault and in fact he did an excellent job. He had to call the company to get the diagram sent over. The company lacks communication between their employees who do the initial annual inspection, scheduling and preparedness. I had to call the company to schedule the work and getting through to anyone was difficult and required numerous phone calls. Worst of all, I called the owner of the company and left polite messages but never received a call back. The only reason I called was to offer constructive feedback to improve both the customer experience as well as the company’s. His refusal to call back a customer is disheartening. I would look for another company for termite service but I paid the company an initial amount of approximately $2,000. I am hopeful they will improve but without the owner taking a more proactive approach it is doubtful.
