We were pleased with Roman, the young man that repaired our washing machine. He was punctual, and he gave us a call before he came. He explained the process as he fixed it. He also checked to make sure it worked. He was very efficient, pleasant, and we are very pleased with the repairs that he did.
I’ve been dealing with Mr. Appliance since September to get my KitchenAid ice maker fixed, and after multiple service visits and nearly $900 spent, I have not had working ice a single time. Not once. Each visit I was told it was “fixed,” yet the ice maker has never worked. After every service visit, I called to report that it still wasn’t working and was told someone would “follow up” with me. In reality, the only follow-up that ever happened was after I called them again. It honestly felt like they were just hoping I’d forget about it. Months of back-and-forth, wasted time, and money down the drain for absolutely no result. If this was something that couldn’t be fixed, that should have been communicated on the first visit—not after several appointments and hundreds of dollars later. This entire experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and look elsewhere.
Dan arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem quickly and had the bearings it needed on hand to efficiently and professionally make the repair. Dryer is running smoothly and quietly. Was so happy I had them come out for the service call it went exactly as I had hoped. Fast forward to now. I started seeing lint inside the laundry room as I only do a few loads on Saturdays. So I moved the hamper from beside the dryer and there was a good 4 inches of lint build up beside the dryer and around the vent pipes. So I take my handheld vac and clean it all up only to find that in the process of moving the dryer to work on it they had busted open the housing that connects the dryer vent to the outside vent. The opening is small so it took awhile for the lint to build up to be noticeable. All I could think about was what a fire hazard this is. So I called Mr Appliance today to tell them what was happening and sent pics to them. When no one called me back with a resolution, I called them only to be informed that it had been a month and a half and I would have to pay for them to come out and fix it eventhough they broke it during the initial repair. I had given them a great review as the initial service seemed great but now realize their customer service is poor at best. I will be calling another repair service to come fix it because it is a fire hazard but if that had caused a fire in my home my lawyer is who I would be calling.
