I’d give even more stars if I could. I got a few quotes for heater repair, and Miller & Sons HVAC & Gas offered the best price and service. On installation day, two trucks showed up with a hardworking crew. They got right to work on my heater, and everyone was friendly and professional. By the end of the day, my heating system was running perfectly, which was a huge relief. The next day, Brian came back to double-check that everything was working well with my older electrical panel. He made sure my heater was running safely and efficiently. They also went above and beyond to help me get a rebate for my new system, which I really appreciated. The front desk staff was always cheerful and quick to help out, and Melvin handled the whole process with real skill and care. I only wish they offered even more services, because I’d trust them with any job in my old house here in Hillsboro.

I noticed a leak coming from my outdoor AC unit and contacted my home warranty provider, who connected me with Miller & Sons HVAC & Gas. Brian came out the next day to check the system and initially didn’t find a problem. The following day, my unit stopped working and had lost all its R-22A refrigerant, just as I suspected from the noise. I called Brian in the morning, and he returned promptly to reinspect the unit. It turned out I needed a new outdoor unit, and the team was able to order the parts and complete the installation within a week. After switching the new system from heat to cool mode, I noticed the heat strips were coming on in cooling mode. Brian came back a week later and quickly fixed the wiring issue. Now that I've had the new Lennox system for a couple of months, I’m very happy with it. It's much quieter and more efficient than the previous system I had when I bought my house. Although there were a couple of small bumps along the way, like not catching the issue at the first visit and the thermostat wiring mix-up, the overall service was excellent compared to other HVAC companies I’ve used before. From the person answering the phones to Brian and the installation crew, everyone was always polite and courteous.
