I highly recommend Midwest Fireplace & Chimney—especially Jordan and Peter—for any chimney work. They are truly the best and most honest experts in the business. Jordan initially assessed my chimney for possible leaks into the attic due to cracked flues, and checked the overall health of the chimney and liners. Jordan is extremely knowledgeable; he explained every detail thoroughly and patiently answered all my questions as I learned about the chimney's complex components. The Work Performed: 1. Repair and Restoration: Jordan returned to tuck point the chimney and replace the old flues that had severe cracking. His work was exceptional—the chimney now looks beautiful! 2. Liner Replacement: After being informed that the chimney liners were deteriorating, I scheduled the replacement. I greatly appreciated that Jordan and Peter were able to fit me in before the freezing weather arrived. 3. Furnace and Water Heater Liners: Jordan and Peter efficiently replaced both the furnace and water heater chimney liners, including installing new vent connectors. Throughout the process, both Jordan and Peter were outstandingly kind and patient, answering my many questions along the way. Their attention to detail was exceptional, ensuring all the work was not only beautiful but also runs safely. I couldn't be happier with the expertise and service provided by Jordan and Peter! They are the BEST!

I found Midwest Fireplace and Chimney (MFC) by accident; just paged through options looking to find a company to perform a chimney sweep, something not done in about four years, as my fireplace was just not drafting well at all for the past year. MFC was very responsive and we were able to set something up in short order. Enter Pete Webster, owner of MFC, who I came to find is one of the most sincere, honest, skilled and genuine people I know. Though I was a skeptic at first when he told me there had been significant damage to my chimney from a fire, I mean, it’s a fireplace after all, he then proceeded to show me video and pictures at length (honestly lost me early on with this) as he is passionate about what he does! And then when it all shook out that the price tag to repair this mess nearly $20,000 I nearly flipped! He again, presented EVERY detail and then advised I reach out to my homeowners insurance, something I hadn’t thought to do, and everything was set into motion to get my fireplace and chimney back in working order. I told him I use my fireplace a LOT and that I need it functional as soon as possible (just like everyone I’m sure) and he even showed on Saturdays to get my project completed. Five stars does not begin to adequately express the quality, integrity, accommodation, and just really good human Pete Webster, MFC as well as the super hardworking Jordan, bring to life. Though I really gave Pete a hard time about wearing a helmet, turns out he could probably wear it more often, he maintained his professional, fun loving and yet serious demeanor.
