Badgerland Fireplace is competent and capable. The project exceeded our expectations. This was a complete tear out and replacement. There were no surprises and they did what they said. Brett and Katie gave excellent planning and communication. Paul, Seth and the rest of the crew were exceptional, diligent workers. The attention to detail was as if they were doing it for themselves. They took great care partitioning off the area with a zip wall and covering floors to keep things clean during the project. My wife and I highly recommend this company. We love our new fireplace.

My Badgerland Fireplace experience began with a trip to their cozy showroom! I was greeted by Katie who walked me through a myriad of options. She was very helpful and listened to what I was hoping to achieve with this project. She arranged a site visit at my home with Brett. Brett arrived promptly and was very pleasant to work with as he assessed my fireplace situation, took notes and made recommendations. A few days later I received an estimate for the project: replacing an ancient gas fireplace insert with a new high-efficiency wood burning insert - including a new stone facade and mantel. I accepted the estimate with a check for the custom insert to get the ball rolling. There were a lot of options to consider in this project and Katie and Kristina were always available to assist with design options and choices. They were enthusiastic and fun to work with as we focused in on a design. I was then placed in the job line up. :) Finally, the day for removal of the existing fireplace arrived - along with prep for the new insert and surround! Paul and Seth arrived promptly and were everything you’d hope a crew to be: courteous, knowledgeable, hardworking, attention to detail and meticulous in their clean up. :) With the new insert unit placed in framed structural support - it was time to call in Jeff - a true craftsman/stone mason with over 30 years of experience. We discussed some parameters and preferences before starting. I wanted a wide variance of stone shapes and sizes and a wide color range - think Old English Pub - and that’s exactly what I got! It was a real treat to watch Jeff work his magic on my fireplace facade! :) Next up on this project was Gerard, who arrived to take measurements and discuss a custom mantel. He was great to work with and answered all my questions as we considered wood species, depth, over-hang, etc. We decided on rustic Walnut with a 5” overhang to give this fireplace the sizable crown she deserved! It was hard to be patient for the mantel - which was going to take some weeks, but Wow …worth the wait! Honestly, every single person I worked with from Badgerland was a delight. They have a rock solid crew of good, knowledgeable humans. There was a real feeling of “family” - a team coming together to accomplish the mission and create something they were all proud to be a part of. I want to thank everyone involved for the care and diligence they gave my project. My new fireplace has been more than just a lovely visual upgrade for my home - that high-efficiency insert is pumping out the HEAT! It did a fantastic job keeping me warm and cozy through a BITTER cold January! All in all, I could not have asked for a better experience. I am giving the people of Badgerland Fireplace my highest recommendation without reservation. My fireplace is beautiful and unique - a real show piece! Job well done!

We had a fireplace insert installed and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team did an excellent job from start to finish—professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Communication was great throughout the entire process; they kept us informed, answered all of our questions, and followed through on everything they promised. The installation was done cleanly and with great attention to detail, and the final result looks and works great. We would absolutely recommend Badgerland to anyone looking for quality work and great customer service.
